Sunset Players, Inc. is a community theatre group located on the west side of Cincinnati. We are currently celebrating our 30th season!
Each year we generally produce four shows: three “regular season” productions plus a December children’s show. By producing a children’s show as a “workshop” production, we provide an opportunity for first-time actors, directors and technicians to prove themselves, and, at the same time, enjoy the most appreciative audience around: children!
Sunset Players always welcomes new members. Our monthly meetings are the first Monday of every month (unless it’s a holiday, then it’s the first Wednesday). If you’re interested in community theatre and have some time to give, we invite you to become part of the Sunset family.

Arts Center Update |

The Sunset Players are working out a lease with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission to assume control 0f the Dunham Arts Building and reopen it as an multifaceted arts center for the West Side Called “the Arts Center at Dunham”. The is center will be a home not only for theatre, but the Fine Arts, Music and Dance. The center is scheduled to be open for the start of the Sunset Players season in fall of 2012. We are working with other non-profits such as the Price Hill Civic Club, The Price Hill Will Arts Community Action Team(CAT), and the Dunham Advisory Board to make this happen. It does indeed take a village (or in this case a community) to keep this building open and turn it into the vibrant multifaceted arts center that it can become. Meanwhile, you can be part of that community by participating in any of the fund raising opportunities we have scheduled for the Arts Center at Dunham. Here are just a few: |

The Latest and Greatest News! We are proud to announce that the Arts Center at Dunham has won a $2,000 grant from Summerfair! The grant money will be used for lead paint abatement. This is our first grant for the restoration of the Arts Center at Dunham, but we hope to see many more in the coming months. Please visit the Summerfair web site for more information. |
