Jump Down the Rabbit Hole and Audition for Sunset Players’ Children’s Show –Alice in Wonderland
Sunset Players will hold open auditions for its children’s show “Alice in Wonderland” based on the Lewis Carroll classic, dramatized by William Glennon, and directed by Bob Kelley on Sunday, March 27 and Monday, March 28 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Arts Center at Dunham
(1945 Dunham Way, Cincinnati, OH 45238).
Alice in Wonderland comes to life as a group of performers seeks out Alice to provide "her turn" in Wonderland. As her adventure unfolds, Alice encounters many unforgettable characters who everyone will grow to love.
Sunset Players’ children's show is a great way for children ages 8 and up to gain skills and perform live theater. The cast consists of 10-18 roles. Crew members and set builders are also needed. All experience levels are welcome.
Actors must be able to read. Auditions will consist of reading selections from the script. Rehearsals will start in early April, several times weekly, from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Auditionees should bring a list of potential rehearsal conflicts and must be available for all performance dates.
Performances are June 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26. Friday night performances are at 7:00 pm with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm.
